CSR Stories – Feeding children in Africa
We have posted a series of CSR stories that are visual stories of CSR and Sustainability activities and initiatives.
This story was for the various organisations who provide support to feed children at several schools across a region in rural Uganda. Some sponsored the construction of kitchens at the schools, whilst others providing funding for the food itself. The evidence shows that feeding children at school improves their attention, engagement and exam results, which offers them the opportunity to break the poverty cycle.
